Jingle Bells

 

This is "Jingle Bells".

I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com this week. I have since lost the picture that inspired me, and am sorry for that.

I used Penny Black stamps to create this scene, first stamping the background using Pinkfresh Ink in Evergreen. 

I attached the background to red matting and glued to my Neenah cardbase. I repeated this for the inside of the card as well.

Using Hammermill cardstock I stampd the Santa image with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black then proceeded to colour using Copic markers as follows:

E34, E35 and E57 for the Reindeer. The scarf is G07 and G09. Santa's suit is R24 and R37 and Santa's boots are C2, C3 and C8. The fur is C1 and his belt is 100 with the buckle being E87. Santa's skin is E00 and E02 with RV11.

I did not have room for the sentiment on the card front, so inside the card I used a piece of mirror gold cardstock to make a frame for the sentiment, stamped using Pinkfresh Ink in Candy Apple.

To finish up I die cut the image using the coordinating die and attached it to the card front using foam squares.
