This painting is for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. When I took the photos the colours looked good, but when I imported the pictures from my camera, they don't look good at all.
Tomorrow I will have to darken my background trees so they show up much better than this and take new pictures as it is too dark now.
For the oval I used Daniel Smith watercolours in Cerulean Blue. The background trees were done using Neutral Tint, but I will be changing that tomorrow to Jane's Grey.
I added splatters using white acrylic watercolour by Winsor Newton.
I attaached my card to a dark blue cardbase to pick up the Ceruliean Blue. The deer I acutally drew - yay me, but I did cheat a bit by having a small deer on my desk which I referred to. I messed up a bit around his hinds and his belly, but I think it will be okay.
Thanks for joining me today. I appreciate it.
See you next time.
