Welcome to this months Winnie the Pooh Inspiration Hop. The designers participating in this hop have put together some fabulous cards that I am sure you all will enjoy.
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed colouring this image, which is just too cute!
It has been awhile since I have participated in a hop with Scrap'n Stamp, so I hope I remember all of this correctly. We have a $50.00 gift certificate to give away to one lucky participant who comments on all of the blogs included in this hop.
The ladies have worked hard to bring you some fun today, so it would be nice to send some love back. The winner will be announced on the Scrap'n Stamp blog at the end of the month. Keep a look out here.
I coloured using Copic markers in the following colours: Y35, Y19, Y13; R35, R46; G00, G03; YG03, and YG17.
As most of you know Impression Obsession is going out of business at the end of the year, but lucky for you Scrap'n Stamp have this image in their store ready for purchase.
I wanted my sentiments bigger than the stamps were, so I stamped the sentiment, scanned it and saved it. This allowed me to open the image in software I have that allows me to make it larger. I wanted to be upfront with you all in case you were looking at the size of the sentiments.
This is clearly not something I would do if this stamp set was still being manufactired on an ongoing basis, but unfortunately that is not the case any longer.
I went around the edges of the sentiment using Copic YG03 then in the centre I attached two rows of foam squares which keeps the sentiment strip up in the centre as shown.
For matting I used Gina K Designs Red Velvet cardstock on both the front and the inside of the card.
I am annoyed at myself as I inteded to add red ink to the sentiment above, and promptly forgot when I was putting the card together!
Thanks so much for your visit today. I very much appreciate it.
