This card I made for the Inspiration Challenge where we are visiting Ruby Clay Co. The inspiration for my card comes from these dishes.
For my heart die cuts I used these dies by Paper Rose.
For my background I embossed using my new Spellbinders Club 3D embossing folder called "Tiny Heart Scallop".
I styled the dies so they would bend upwards slightly, giving the appearance that they are dishes. I coloured using Copic markers in BG45, G43 and R81.
To add further depth to the "heart dishes" I attached foam strips between each heart die as well as to the bottom dish.
The hearts I drew on using a gold EK Tools gold marker pen which I also used to go around the edges of the heart dies.
I embossed another panel for inside the card, again using the "Tiny Heart Scallop" embossing folder. I then added the middle size heart die, which is coloured using the R81 Copic marker.
To the pink Heart I added stencil work by A Colorful Life Designs (sneak peek) for the sentiment.
Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
