In the Winter

 

This is "In the Winter".

We are not getting snow, but it is cold enough for it so I am sure at some point we will get a covering of the grass.

I have the set of these dies, one with the Woodland Scene and the set which includes the Snow Globe. did use the Globe along with the Woodland Scene for this card today.

I die cut the pieces I needed, some from coloured cardstock, and others from white cardstock that I coloured using Copic markers.

First however I embossed the background piece where I am using a piece of Neenah cardstock along with my Club embossing folder called Pine Cones and Berries.

On the Globe I attached a piece of shaker plastic die cut to fit which gives the globe the appearance of being under glass.

I attached the Globe using foam strips to add dimension to the overall look of the card.  I used glitter cardstock for the snow and sky. 

There is a bit of the glue still showing but that will disappear once dry.

On the inside I die cut two pieces of the sentiment one in white card and the other in the blue glitter cardstock which I used on the front of the card.

I also added the embossed piece to the bottom of the panel along with some silver ribbon.
