This is "A Cloudy Day".
The last bird in my series of Nature Sings birds by Penny Black Stamps. It is not always easy to spot if the Robin is male or female as you really have to look at their behavior.
But I did take it upon myself to treat the bird as a female. I coloured using Copic markers in: E17, E25, E77, Y11, R14 and 110.
For the clouds I used my Cloud Edger by A Colorful Life Designs along with Speckled Egg distress oxide ink.
Using the different colours on the birds feathers give the bird added texture. When I did the clouds I went over where I had coloured previously, so I did add another layer of the Copics to keep the branch crisp.
I had masked off the bird before doing the clouds.
I cut the Copic coloured panel to 3.75 x 5.0" and glued it in place using Art Glitter glue. I then stamped the sentiment by Hero Arts using VersaFine Clair ink in Pinecone.
I did the same stencil work inside the card and stamped the sentiment, also by Hero Arts, using the Pinecone ink.
Thank you for joining me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card today.
See you next time.
