Ceramic Birds

This is "Ceramic Birds".

My inspiration came from these ceramic birds from our Inspiration site the Moreushop. I resized the picture and reprinted so I could trace the birds, as you all know I cannot draw worth a darn!

There are a few things I changed, such as adding the black around the birds body allowing them to show up better. 

It is very hard to see but there is a white counter under the left bird and as you can see a green cloth covering a lift for the smaller bird.

I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper for this and am using Daniel Smith watercolours in Jadite Genuine and a light coating of Sap Green. I added splatters using the Jadite Genuine.

My card base is 5.5" square using using Gina K Designs Grass Green, with the matting done using Jelly Bean Green.

For the beaks I used Daniel Smith Raw Sienna and on the eyes I painted them black and added the white using Dr. Ph. Bleedproof White watercolour.

To finish my card I stamped a simple Thank you inside the card using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis.
