This is "Love Bug". Our inspiration challenge today is a visit with Lifestyles for Real Life and their Pinterest page where I found my inspiration.
My inspiration can be found by following the link provided here. There are many samples of Love Bugs.
I made the little Love Bud by die cutting a circle using a Spellbinders die, then die cutting the ears, which are hearts and attaching to the back of the circle on foam strips.
I blended ink on the face using Pinkfresh Ink in Begonia.
I made my card base using Neenah cardstock, then attached a piece of green cardstock, along with designer paper adding on the Love Bug.
To the Love Bug I added red gems with Googly eyes from my stash. I made the antennas attaching a large red rhinestone to the end.
I drew the mouth in using a black sharpie marker. This "Love Bug" makes me laugh, and I needed that! Too cute.
I used the same designer paper and cardstock for the inside of the card and stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Clair ink Nocturne.
This card I think will be perfect for a little girl.
Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
