It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week Stacy is our hostess and she has asked we watch and paint from this video.
I never seem to have the kind of success everyone else seems to have, but I did get a bit of a reaction from the salt so I went with it.
I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper along with Daniel Smith watercolours and the salt for this painting.
I added a few fir trees/shrubs to the scene, along with two trees. There is snow added to the white space using Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleedproof white watercolour.
I added the slightly frozen over lake using Manganese Blue watercolour, and for the background I used Cerulean Blue along with Green Apatite for the shrubs.
I also added splatters using the Bleedproof white watercolour.
Thanks so much for joining me today.
See you next time.
