Smooch

 

This is "Smooch".

There are two hedgehogs included in this Penny Black stamp set, which is called "Smooch". Today I have the first card I made using one of the stamps, and I will have another card coming soon.

I must say I do love these stamp sets. I coloured him using Copic marker colours as follows: RV13, RV14, R11, E42, C3 and C4.

For cardstock I am using new to me cardstock by My Colors Photoplay in Ballerina Pink and Petal Pink. It is nice, not super heavy being 100lb.

I cut the cardstock in the layers I wanted for my layout, but the hedgehog looked bland to me, so I decided I would emboss it using m Club embossing folder Tiny Heart Scallop.

That added a bunch of dimension and I think interest as well and the hedgehog is still very recognizable when viewing.

You would not want to use a large print embossing folder for something like this, but the tiny hearts work well.

For the inside I kept the layers flat, i.e. no embossing with just the sentiment which is fby Say It With Stamps Kiss Me.
