Snow Buddy

This is "Snow Buddy".

It seemed fitting to make this card today as it is very cold in my neck of the woods! Seems the weather is the "talk about" thing these days, expecially as it is far from normal for my area.

The expression on the bear's face makes me want to wrap my arms around him! In pretend time, not reality. This Polar Bear is by Honey Bee Stamps and called Polar Pals.

I went looking at Polar Bear's earlier today and it seemed to me that every one I looked at had dirty paws and hinds, but whitish fur up top. So I went with it.

I first die cut the background using a die by My Favorite Things called "Wonky Rectangles" and glued it in place using Art Glitter glue.

I used Copic markers in the W series of colours, plus a few others being; W0, W2, W4, W7, W10, R81, YR18 and E27.

On the bird I used dark colours being browns and blacks as Arctic birds are normally in darker colours, with many having white underbellies.

I made snow drifts that I added behind where the Polar Bear stands. On the edges of the snow I added Pops of Color in Snowflake, which has a sparkle in it and is very pretty.

I then attached the Polar Bear using foam tape, along with the Penguin also using foam tape, and glued the bird in place using Art Glitter glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment and die cut using the coordinating dies along with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, then glued the bird in place using Art Glitter glue.

I had a lot of fun making this card. I do hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for taking the time to visit with me today.

See you next time.
