Dragonfly

This is "Dragonfly".

This die and sentiment come from Spellbinders Club of the Month which I recieve. There are two styles of dragonflies, and I was so sure I had done the other style already, but alas it seems not. 

I decided rather than use the embossing folder that comes with these products I would do a simple background for the dragonfly using Tumbled Glass and a ink brush to blend.

I am feeling the colour blue these days, and I think that has to do with the coming of spring. This year I think we will all be ready for some spring.

To the blended background I added gold splatters which I did using Wink of Stella's gold ink pen. Once dry I attached the piece to my Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue.

I then attached the dragonfly along with a piece of foam tape under it to give it a bit of dimension in its appearance.

I then added a few gold gems around the card and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Paradise.

On the inside I applied the Tumbled Glass ink as I did on the card front and stamped "Hugs" from the stamp set.
