Flutter

 

This is "Flutter".

I kept this card in pastel colours of pinks, which is quite different for me. You know me as the girl who loves bright colours.

But we all need to try new colours and styles every now and then. This stamp is by Penny Black and called Valentine Dance. It is an older set so I could only find it on Amazon.com. 

First, using Hammermill cardstock, I stamped the butterfly using Pinkfresh Ink in Begonia. I then coloured using Copic markers in RV00 for the wings background and R83 for the hearts of the wings.

On the body of the butterflies I went over the pink stamping using a Sharpie Fine Point marker in black which details the body.

At the top of the card piece I stamped the sentiment, which is such a sweet sentiment desbribing the flight of this butterfly.

I cut the stamped background to 4"x5.25" and glued it to the Recollections pink cardbase using Art Glitter glue.

On the inside of the card using another piece of Hammermill cardstock I stamped the sentiment which is also by Penny Black and called Kisses and Wishes.
