Gift Exchange

 

Meet "Gift Exchange".

Today I am using another of the Penny Black Critter Cuddles pictures. As I have already mentioned to all of you, I love these pictures for many reasons but mostly because if you need a quick card this is the way to go.

They are beautifully done needless to say. For my card today I picked colours from the scene that I thought would look great with the scene. 

When looking at this picture, I saw the blue, so changed it up a bit and added teal for my matting. I am using Gina K Designs cardstock in Sea Glass and Turquoise Sea.

I think the cardstock adds a great look to the scene. For this I die cut using a Waffle Flower Nesting Dotted Rectangles die on the top picture as well as the teal framing.

I then attached these to my cardbase, being the Sea Glass cardstock.

I love how the lantern glows on the back of the bear, adding the warm yellow gold colour. The bit of pink on the hedgehog is also adorable.

On the inside of the card I die cut an older Penny Black die of hearts using red cardstock and stamped the sentiment also by Penny Black using Candy Apple Red ink by Pinkfresh Inks.
