This is "Squeeze".
I made this card for the inpiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers today which took us to Everything Kitchens where I picked this mug as my inspiration.
First I embossed the background piece and a piece for inside the card using Spellbinders Luxe Backdrop and Border embossing folder. I attached the panel using Art Glitter glue. For the mug, I die cut the cup using Spellbinders Merry Mug die.
I drew the design on the cup using Copic markers G29, B29, YR09, Y08 and Y04. Between the base and mug front I added foam squares to give the piece some dimension.
I stamped the sentiment using Pinkfresh Ink in Clementine and attached it using foam squares. I also made the lemon piece and tucked it in the corner of the card.
For the inside of my card I have the embossed piece as I previously mentioned. On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the sentiment, again using the Pinkfresh Ink in Clementine.
I very much like how it turned out, and am a bit proud of myself for drawing the design. Go figure I thought! Mind you, it is an easy drawing to do.
And I must say I do love the colours!
Thanks so much for visiting with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card, for which I thank you.
See you next time.
