This is "Grateful Greenery".
I love this leaf and the opportunities it has. It is released by Pinkfresh Stamps. I inked up the plate with black Memento Ink and ran it through my Platinum 6, then die cut it with the coordinating die.
I spent a day recently going through my Copic markers and testing Copics that match easily and have a nice look together. This leaf is one of the leaves I was thinking about when doing up my Copic sheet.
Some of the blends I used are B24, B26, B28; Y02, Y17, YR16; R05, YR16, E19; R14, R37, R89; RV02, RV04; RV09; BG05, BG09, BG13.
I die cut the frame using Spellbinders Mirrored Arch dies from gold matte cardstock. For the card front I used Altenew's Antique Linen embossing folder.
The sentiment is from another Spring stamp set which I stamped using a stitched label. And the leaf is by Pinkfresh which has the coordinating dies.
To put it all together I attached the embossed background using Art Glitter glue. I then attached the frame using foam strips, and glued in place on the frame the leaf.
I glued in place the sentiment. I considered gems but went for a clean look as I did not want to take away from the colours on the leaves.
I partially embossed the piece inside the card and added the sentiment to finish this design.
Thank you for joining me today. I do hope you enjoy this card.
