Meet "Life is Beautiful".
This is a Club 3D embossing folder for March by Spellbinders. So very pretty with so many options for colouring available.
First up I ran the embossing folder through my Platinum embossing machine using Neenah cardstock in white. I also ran the piece for the inside of my card through the Platinum picking a different part of the folder to emboss.
I trimmed the pieces to fit my card front, which is a 5.5" square card, also using Neenah cardstock.
The Copic colours I used are: G21, G24; RV02, RV04; Y06, Y08 and Y38. And as I look at the picture above I can see a branch that I missed colouring in the G24. Can you spot it?
As previously mentioned I trimmed the top layer for just under the 5.5 inches and attached to my card front using Art Glitter glue.
When applying the pink inks I first put down the RV02 on the full petal, then came back in with the RV04 for the centre of the flower. To blend it I went over the flower again with the RV02.
The yellow flower I did the same way using the Y06 and Y08. The blending is not so harsh using this technique. In some situations I want the colours bold, but this was not one of them.
To finish up I stamped the sentiments, which are by Pinkfresh and called Detailed Leaf which are found here and here, using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, then die cut them using the coordinating dies.
Thank you for taking some time with me today. I do hope you have enjoyed this card.
See you next time.
