Spring Smiles

Meet "Spring Smiles".

It has been awhile since I have made a card where I used my stylist to add dimension along with a card full of focal flowers, something I do not normally do. For this card I am using a Pinkfresh Die called Fresh Florals.

But I do say, I love the look this makes. I used Copics to colour the flowers, being G16, G19, BG18, BG57, YG13, YG45, YG67, R30, RV02 and RV04.

I attached the flowers using foam squares and glued in place a few of the sprigs using Art Glitter glue. I also added the frame which I made with the largest and second largest Postage Edge dies, which are attached using foam strips.

When I style my flowers I use a 5 inch square thick foam piece along with my styler for the task. I have had the foam square for a long time, and I don't see it around anymore, otherwise I would share it with you.

I also always add foam squares under the styled flowers.

I very much like the colours together, they work perfectly together I think. I have to remember this mix of colours and use it again.

I used the branches that came with the set for the inside of the card, which is shown below, along with a sentiment from a Spellbinders Club Stanp and Die of the Month.

I also added the left over piece from the die cutting I did for the frame on the front of my card.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I do appreciate it.

See you next time.
