Hoppy Easter

 

Meet "Hoppy Easter".

Today I am using "Spring Bunnies" by Spellbinders Betterpress. The set comes with three bunnies along with a bunch of other fun dies. Today I used one of the bunnies and a heap of eggs for this card.

To colour the front of my card I am using Pinkfresh Inks in Waterfall, Turquoise and Paradise, blending the colours together as I went along. 

I then inked up the die cut Pinkfresh Decorative Frames and ran it through my Betterpress, then die cut the frames using the coordinating dies.

I then attached the frame in place using foam strips. For the eggs and the Bunny I styled both slightly to add a bit of dimension.

For the eggs I attached them in place by row working from the bottom up again using foam strips and attached the sentiment strip again using the foam strips.

For the inside of the card I attached paper to match the card front along with some of the framed dies that I had previously die cut.

When it came time to upload take the photos the cardstock inside the card took on a totally different colour than it really was, so I had to change it up, but that changed the white lace as you can see!

Sometimes, everything just goes south!!

Alas, I added another ones of the bunnies inside the frame which is propped up using thin foam squares.
