I made this card for a friend who has been under the weather for what feels like a long time. She has really suffered, so I know she would appreciate this card.
I also made this for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week. We are visiting Raspberry Creek Fabrics for the challenge where I picked this fabric for my inspiration.
For this card I am using Betterpress Press Plates called Floral Celebrations. I pressed this on Neenah cardstock using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
For colour I watercoloured using Daniel Smith watercolours. I also used a water brush, but did not have any water in it, instead I had a glass of water to clean the brush when necessary.
My colours are Opera Pink, Sap Green, Green Apatite Genuine, Yellow Lemon, Manganese Blue and Cobalt Teal Blue.
I die cut the floral piece using Penny Black's Antique Frame which I also used to cut the frame on the interior of the card.
For the front panel I added foam to the underneath of the die cut to add some dimension to the card. I then stamped and die cut the sentiments for the front of the card and the inside.
The sentiment stamps and dies is an older set from Pinkfresh. They do have the dies available at Scrapbook.com if you need them, but not the stamp set.
I do hope you have enjoyed today's card. I certainly enjoyed making it.
See you next time.
