Meet "Yum Carrots".
Yes, I readily admit that carrots are my favourite "food" ever. I would take a carrot before just about anything else, well maybe not ice cream!
So when I saw this carrot at Scrapbook.com it was one of those "have to have" moments. Yes I did buy it, although I probably could have waited as Scrapbook.com often puts dies like these up for freebies.
But I did not want to wait, and did not want to take the chance I would not get it, so I went ahead and bought it.
To start this card I first die cut 4 of the carrots, 3 for my card front and a 4th for inside my card. I then die cut the layering die pieces from Gina K Designs cardstock in Sweet Mango.
For layering I used a Waffle Flower die called Nesting Dotted Rectangles, which I cut smaller than my card front. To the edges of the die cut panel sponged on Pinkfresh Persimmon ink.
For colour I used my Copic markers, with just a few colours being G14, YG09; YR04 and YR07. After colouring the carrots I attached the carrots to the die cut panel I cut for my card front using art glitter glue.
On the inside of the card I also added another carrot, along with die cut letters spelling out YUM, and in case you are wondering I am talking about the carrot! lol
This certainly was a fun card to make, and I do hope you enjoy it as well.
Thanks so much for visiting with me today.
See you next time.
