About Kia's Place

Welcome to my new place to share my cards, my art and a few bits and pieces.

I have been thinking about migrating to wordpress for some time. It is a big undertaking, and I was not sure I was up for it. But, I was won over when I went looking at sites one day and found Craftbird. I mean come on, I love birds and I love crafts and there was not a thing I did not like, but a whole lot I loved. So I went for it, and here I am.

I do have more to do, I would like to add to my Tutorials section, so if you see a great tutorial, please share. Under The Nook I have little stories about funny things or my thoughts, even quotes that inspire me. The contents here will change as I continue on my journey. I aso have posts to fix from the past as the permalinks are different between Blogger and WordPress.

I will add more to share. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so organization has been a major hurdle for me, but I am finally getting there.

I will also start posting my Watercolour Art as pages to be seen as I complete them. It sometimes becomes a tug of sorts between finishing a painting, or doing a card!

  2. Hi Kia,
I don’t have a wegsite. I surely do love following you and watching you make your beautiful cards. You have shown me quite a lot and I thank you for it from my heart. Your cards are lovely. My husband and I both like watching the birds, too. We also have a cocketiel named Frederick. Your CC is so sweet. Lol They are so enjoyable to watch. My husband puts seed out for them in the birdfeeder in the tree and we have all kinds that come around along with a few squirrels and chipmunks. God’s beauty…. awesome. Love your new site. Make it a great day! 🙂 TFS

    1. Thank you Linda for your kind words, I love the name Frederick … perfect for a cockatiel.
