About Me

A little about my crafting self. I have been making cards since 2005. I started out with Scrapbooks but soon found that that was not for me. I moved to card making, and I am so pleased I did.

I joined Splitcoaststampers, and I loved it. Lydia, the Community Manager at SCS asked me to become a part of the Dirt Pile, the Dirty Dozen, which I welcomed. I suppose one could say I have not looked back.

I can honestly say that I was very naive when I joined in with the blogging world. I had not a clue how it worked, or why and I could not imagine anyone looking at my cards, it was fun though. I have figured out a lot since those days.

I started attending watercolour classes a few years ago, and I still continue. I have a great teacher and a wonderful group of ladies that are part of the Wednesday Night Club.

I have been fortunate to have been asked to join a few Design Teams, which I love. I am addicted to hops, they are so much fun! I love how this industry works together, and I love the people whom I have met along the way.

I am part of various affiliate programs – when you click on an affiliate link and then go on to make a purchase, at no cost to you, I receive a small commission. I use the money raised towards the cost of running this blog. I hope if you like the content of my blog you will support me by clicking through these links to make your purchases, and I thank you.

I buy the majority of my supplies. However, I do receive some free product to work with when doing hops. Ultimately, what I use on my blog is what I truly like, regardless of how I obtained it. Even if I am given a product, it will go unused or given away unless I truly love and recommend it.

I thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy your stay.
