Anything is possible, my card for today. I take this to heart, for I am water colouring, something I never thought I could learn.
This is the 3rd of the birds included in the set “Birds” from Picket Fence Studios, and once again I opted for some bright and fun colours from my water colour palette.
But first, in my mini Misti I stamped the background on Neenah card stock using distress inks in two colours being Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I then die cut the piece.
Using VersaFine Claire ink in Nocturne and in my Misti I stamped the bird on a left over piece of Fabriano Hot Press water colour paper and proceeded to water colour using yellows, greens, pinks and oranges.
Having the bird against the background did not work for me, so I die cut a piece of white vellum and attached it to the card using vellum tape. I then styled and attached the bird using foam squares, and stamped the sentiment using the Nocturne ink.
To finish I added a few gems picking up the colours from the bird.
I hope you have enjoyed this card today. It sure was fun to make this card, and I have included Affiliate links below for the products I used.
