This is my sample card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today.
The challenge is to use something that reminds us of Paris France, or to use a Fleur de lis. I do not have a Fleur de lis. I do have a die of the Eiffel Tower, but I am not in the mood for that.
Instead I opted to use a flourish stencil which has a similar feel to the Fleur de lis, well sort of!
I taped off an area on my card and proceeded to stencil using Distress Oxide inks in Fossilized Amber and Peacock Feathers.
In my Mini Misti I then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Claire ink in Nocturne and die cut the sentiment using a die called Deckled Ovals. I brushed around the edges of the die with the Fossiized Amber ink, then attached to my card using foam squares.
To finish my card I added a few gems which add a bit of sparkle.
