Welcome to Pop’n Hop!

We have a very cute Hop for you this month that I am sure you will enjoy. And, we have a $50.00 Gift Card prize to the store for the lucky winner, so be sure to comment on each of the Design Team members blog to be entered in the Draw.

Now on to my Pop Up Box. I decided to make my box around fish, specifically I’m a Puffer for You stamp set. I cut out several of the Puffer fish and coloured with my Copic markers. I then attached the fish to strips of acetate using Nuvo Adhesive glue, which allows movement of the pieces.

I also coloured the back of the fish with the lightest colour of Copic I was using, so it would look good from all angles.

There are also a few die beach bits, some starfish and seaweed, which I coloured then glued in, along with some die cut waves .

I liked having the white base underneath, so I covered only the top parts of the box and the back panel using some designer paper from my stash. I then added a few gumdrops in different colours, along with some crystal jewels.

To finish I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis and sponged around the die piece using Ranger Archival ink in Vivid Chartreuse.

Such a fun project and it can lay flat for mailing. The kit you can purhcase makes this an easy project. Next up on the hop is Deborah.

Following are the links to the products I have used for today’s project at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support.
