Autumn is the Season of Change.

For me, autumn cannot come soon enough. I do not enjoy the hot summers, but do love our Seasons of Spring, Fall and Winter.

The beautiful colours we love and have here in Ontario during the fall is breathtaking. I used some of those colours for this card, being distress oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mustard Yellow, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple.

I sponged on the colours and blended using my Life Changing Brushes, then spritzed with my Holbein spritzer which spritzes different size water droplets, depending on how far you push the nozzle. So cool! For my Canadian friends I have provided a link to DeSerres, which is where I bought my bottle.

Using Penny Black Into the Sky, I stamped off then stamped in the background, then stamped in the front rows of branches using VersaFine Clair Pinecone ink.

To finish I stamped the sentiment using Make Art Red Geranium, and added my little CC bird which is also stamped in the Red Geranium.
