Think happy thoughts!
It is time for the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge is to use stripes. I opted for this stencil with stripes.
To start this card I first die cut my panel and prepped it for heat embossing, i.e. a lot of powder over the panel before placing the stencil on.
I inked up the stencil with a good coating of the embossing ink, then applied the powder, sweeping off a few stray bits and heat embossed.
For my butterfly I decided to colour with Copics in some bright colours along with a few aqua colours, then die cut with the coordinating die and attaching to my card with Nuvo Adhesive.
To finish I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
