Penny Black Hopping By.
Normally we see Bears for Christmas, so when I saw this Bunny by Penny Black is was a must have, and I admit, so was the Snowflake Die.
I wanted to keep the card light, but as is usual for me, I wanted saturation of the colours I did use. Hence the saturation of the Distress Oxide Salty Ocean in the background.
Using the Snowflake Frame and the large snowflake I die cut using my Gemini Jr., then trimmed the Frame border to where the snowflakes ended and set both aside.
Using the panel that is cut when the Frame is cut in my Mini Misti I stamped the Bunny using Nocturne Ink by VersaFine Clair. This is not Copic friendly ink, but I wanted the black smear on my bunny.
Using Copic Markers I coloured the Bunny getting the smear I wanted, and for the presents I dotted around the stamped portions so as to not smear the ink.
The frame comes with another die that sits inside the frame. Using both of the pieces I die cut the thin mat for use inside the frame, which I coloured with glitter markers.
To put it together I attached the stamped Bunny to my card base and attached the frame using fun foam and Scor-pal tape. I then glued in the blue matting and coloured the frame with Midas Touch Shimmering Pen from Nuvo. and then glued on the snowflake.
To finish my card I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Silver Crystals.
This certainly was another fun card to make, and I hope you enjoy it as well. Following are Affiliate links to the products used at no cost to you. I thank you for your support.
