Meet Glittering Poinsettia.

When I was making Poinsettia Magic I thought about using my Glitter Paste. I knew I was nearing the end of the jar, but the good news is I had enough for this card.

It is such an easy card, stencil on your colour being sure the add highlights. I use my Life Changing Brushes for this, which makes it much easier for me.

Stencilling is made so much easier when I use my Stay-tion which has magnets that securely holds my stencil in place along with the card underneath and allows me to turn the Stay-tion as I need while stencilling.

I wanted an unusual colour and opted for Distress Oxide in Bundled Sage. I then applied the glitter paste over the top of the centre flowers and left to dry. I did use a lot of paste which added a lot of texture.

A bonus was how the paste changed the colour of the ink … so cool.

To finish in my Mini Misti I stamped my sentiment in VersaFine Clair Fantasia.

Another Christmas card ready.

  3. Your card is really beuatiful with all that glittery goodness Kia. Our challenge is to stencil over patterned paper and looks like it’s just stenciling over plain white.

    1. Hi Loll! I knew that, duh! Lights are on but no one’s home. Sorry about that.
