Snow Greetings.

This card I have made as my sample card for the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.

By the time I was finishing up it was getting dark outside, so my pictures are darker than I would like them to be, for which I apologize.

For this card I started by die cutting my panel for my background. I then cut the vellum and tore the edges and brushed on tumbled glass distress oxide ink to the edges.

For the circle background I used Wendy Vecchi Make Art inks mixing Prickly Pear and Forget Me Not inks to get that cool green which has me thinking “chills”. I then splattered with some Nuvo Shimmering Pen.

I stamped my image using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and water coloured using my water colour palette and fussy cut when finished.

To give my snow family some movement I styled the piece, then attached using foam squares to the background piece which was attached to my card base. I tucked the Bears foot in the “snow” and added Nuvo Shimmering Pen to the Fur on the Santa Hat.

And to finish, with Ranger Archival Ink I stamped the sentiment along the bottom of the card.

I just love this fun image and look forward to making another card for the coming Season.
