Bold Merry Christmas
I am up on the Scrap’n Stamp Blog today with this card, which I decided would be bold as it is probably my last Merry Christmas card for the season. That isn’t to say I won’t use this Winter Flower set again though.
To get the Bold I am using Gina K. Designs Cherry Red card stock for my card base and panel, along with White Vellum and Gold embossing powder.
Starting off I die cut the panel piece using my Penny Black Stitched Stackers die. Using the white vellum, I tore a strip on both sides for the base part, and when happy with the look I wrapped it around the panel and secured to the back of the panel.
I then attached the panel to the red card base using Be Creative tape and Fun Foam.
In my Misti I stamped the flower and leaves on the Vellum using VersaMark embossing ink, and heat embossed with gold embossing powder, arranged then glued to the vellum piece on the panel. There is glue under the wrapped piece where the flower is to secure the vellum to the base.
To finish up I stamped the sentiment on the red card stock and heat embossed with the same gold embossing powder. I then added the Nuvo Crystal Drops to the completed card.
