Christmas Thank you

The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers is to get a jump on your Thank you cards.

You all know I love birds, and this little fellow was beckoning for some watercolour. On Fabriano Hot Press water colour paper I first did the background colour, covering where the bird would be with a stamped and cut post it note.

I then set up the image in my Misti and proceeded to colour, then spritz and blend using my water colour brush in a #4.

Once the piece was completed I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Ink in Pincecone.

It does not take very long to do this image at all. I trimmed the piece to 4 x 4 and matted with a dark brown layer, then added to my blue card base. The total card is 4.5 square, so I will make an envelope for it.

So, my thank you cards have begun. How about you?

Following are Affiliate Links to the products I used for this card today, at no extra cost to you. I have listed USA and Canadian Links.
