Meet Flowing Hugs.

Today I am using a new to me stencil, along with some new inks on the market from Ink on 3.

If you have not heard of Ink on 3 before, they make some awesome products, one being Fadeout No Line colouring detail ink, which is fabulous ink that will fade out so your image appears without lines from stamping.

They also make Blackout Detail ink which can be used with Copic Markers and watercolour. It is Archival and fast drying. As well, they have clear stamps and dies and numerous other supplies.

Today I am trying their new ink called Atelier. I have to say, so far I am loving these inks. I have done a few backgrounds, and the above card to share with you today.

They are like Brusho or Color Burst in their intensity of colour. I sponged on the ink for my card and what you see is one layer of each colour. It is an immediate WOW!

For my card today I am using My Jam Purple and Peacock Blue. I sponged on the colour using my Ranger ink blending tool with foams. The reason for this is I will use the ink left on the foam.

First I die cut the panel using my Spellbinders die and 100lb cardstock. On my Stay-tion using painters tape I framed the panel so I would use only the inside part of the panel.

Using the magnets I secured the stencil to my Stay-tion and sponged on the inks, first using the purple, then adding in the blue, also going over the blue with the purple as I was wondering how blending with different colours would look. It changed the colour, but I am loving the look.

With the stencil still in place I splattered with water, waiting a bit as I wanted the water to cause some bleeding, then laid paper towel over the piece. There is a small amount of bleed, but I like this look for this card. I then splattered the piece with Midas Touch Shimmering Pen, which adds the sparkle.

I attached my panel to my card base (120lb) using fun foam and scor-pal tape.

For my sentiment I die cut the hugs die using 120lb cardstock. The reason for the 120lb is I only wanted to use one layer of cardstock but still wanted the layer appearance. Using my Midas Touch Shimmering Pen I picked up the colour left on the foam pad of my blending tool, and painted my sentiment with that colour.

It is difficult to photograph sparkle, however it helps a bit with this close up. To finish my card I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew.

I am linking this card to CAS Stencil January 2020 Challenge

I hope you have enjoyed this card today and thank you for visiting my blog. Following are Affiliate Links to the products that I have used along with the Ink on 3 inks available.
