Meet “Because”

This small heart leaf die from Penny Black called Ardor reminds me of Shamrocks, which is why I used it for this card today. I am participating in the challenge from the CAS Watercolour March 2020 challenge called Luck of the Irish.

I first die cut my panel piece from white cardstock using Penny Black’s Elegant Stitching Die. I then inked up my Sizzix Embossing Folder called Leaves with green inks Prickly Pear and Leaf Green and spritzed with water before running through my Gemini Jr.

Ensuring the panel was dry I then splattered with the Vegas Gold ink and attached fun foam to the back with scor-pal tape.

I die cut the Ardor Leaf using watercolour paper and added Fresh Green from the Nuvo Aqua Flow Pen Set Spring Meadow, styled a bit and attached with foam squares and Nuvo Adhesive.

To finish up I heat embossed my sentiment on a piece of watercolour paper with white embossing powder, then painted it with the Fresh Green Aqua pen. I trimmed the sentiment with my Cut and Align Ruler and attached it to the card with thin foam squares.

I then attached a thin piece of gold glitter cardstock to the bottom of the panel, tucking it up under the panel and gluing in place with Nuvo Adhesive.

Thank you for dropping by today. Following are Affiliate Links to the products that I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
