Keep the Faith.

I am finding myself reaching for this sentiment “Keep the Faith”, as we all continue to tread carefully in this new reality of COVID-19.

Earlier today I did some CAS gel press prints, and this is one of them. What I mean by CAS is I did not clutter the plate with a lot of different stencils, I kept it to one, but added a lot of different colours.

For my prints I used Vicki Boutin acrylic paints. I used the bright colours, being the lime green, orange, yellow, the darker green and turquoise. The stencil I used is from A Colorful Life Design.

I use HP Premium 32lb photocopy paper when doing my gel prints. It is a beautiful smooth paper, feeling like a fine writing paper, and takes the ink beautifully. For stability I affix the finished piece to 80lb cardstock before using on my cards.

Back to my card, I die cut my gel design using my Penny Black die and attached it to my card base. I then stamped and die cut the leaf from Altenew using Make Art ink in Garden Patina, and added a bit colour to the leaves with my Copic YG06.

To finish, I stamped my sentiment, also from Altenew using Ranger Cobalt ink.

The idea for this card came from the challenge going on over on the CAS Mix-up challenge page, which is to use Acrylic Paint. I will be adding this card to the challenge.

I hope you have enjoyed this card today and that it will inspire you to get out your gel press and make some happy. Thank you for visiting. Following are Affiliate Links to the products that I have used for this card.
