I look forward to sharing two more techniques with you during the month of May. In the mean time, you may remember my post from April where I showed you the Shaving Cream Technique. I made the card I am sharing with you today from one of those backgrounds, shown here.
This is the background I decided to use for my card today. The stencil is from Hero Arts, and I am again using a stamp from the Wendy Vecchi Bravo Stamp Set.
I think it makes a beautiful background for this stamp. The panel I made is 4.25 x 5.5, which I attached to my card base. I die cut the white stitched rectangle and attached using fun foam.
I then stamped and heat embossed the flower with white embossing powder, then coloured using Copic Markers in Y08, YR04 and YR09. I did not worry about the embossing in the centre of the flower as I considered it highlights.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using Leaf Green Make Art ink, then attached the flower on a foam square.
Over the next few days I will share more of the cards I have made using these backgrounds.
A reminder when shopping at Scrap'n Stamp to use my Discount Code 10KIA.
Thank you for joining me today. Following are Affiliate Links to the products that I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
