Now that I have taken care of business, it is time to share my cards.
I did two cards for the hop today where I am using the Wendy Vecchi "Bravo" Stamp Set.
The first card I did was the watercolour card. The flower looks like a Zinnia to me, so I painted with that in mind. I first stamped the flowers and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then proceeded to watercolour using Zig Clean Color Brushes.
For the Yellow Flower I used Yellow 050 and Bright Yellow 052, for the Pink Flower I used Light Carmine 021 and Carmine Red 022, and for the Blue Flower I used Light Blue 036 and Cornflour Blue 037. I added a mixture of brown and navy for the flower centres along with Nuvo Shimmering Pen in Midas Touch.
Using the coordinating die I ran the flowers through my Gemini Jr., then stamped the swirl using Make Art Ink in Leaf Green. I attached the flowers with the pink being glued, the yellow on a foam square the the blue on a slightly higher foam square.
As this is kept on the light side I used a piece of Gina K. Design cardstock to stamp and heat emboss my sentiment in white, and finished my card with a few gems.
For my second card I did a whimsy design using the swirl from the stamp set and heat embossing with gold embossing powder.
I die cut a panel panel for the front of my card, attaching to the left of the card. I then ran the stitched dies through my Gemini Jr. and attached as a border below the flowers.
Using Copic Markers I coloured the flowers and the leaves in various purple colours, being RV10, V12, V15 and V17. I then put the card back in my mini MIsti and stamped the sentiment also in the gold embossing powder.
That is it for my cards today, which I hope you have enjoyed. Next up on the hop is Chala
