It is a beautiful day in my area and in the last week the trees have really begun their display of leaves, which had me thinking about this card. And, it is Saturday, and the Inspiration Challenge is ongoing at Splitcoaststampers.
I picked this as my inspiration from the Canva Pinterest site, and have used these colours for my card today.
1. To start my card I am using A Colorful LIfe Design Stencil for my background. On my craft mat I added Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks to the stencil. I then placed the stencil over my card base and added Opaque Texture Paste. As I dragged the paste the colour came with it, making this super easy.
2. I set the card base aside and using Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper I stamped the image in my mini Misti using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne. I the proceeded to watercolour using my Nuivo Aqua Flow Pens. I use these a lot, and they just keep going and going, I have not replaced any of them thus far.
3. The colours I used are Soft Rose and Fresh Green from the Spring Meadow set; Flamingo Pink from Surprise Party set, Spiced Ginger and Rustic Oak from Autumn Woodland set. (this I mixed with the Flamingo Pink to paint the flower which has an undercoat of the Soft Rose)
4. I let the bunny dry, then die cut him using the coordinating die.
5. And by this time the background was almost dry. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair Ink in
6. To finish up I styled the Bunny and attached him to my card base using foam squares.
