On Arches Cold Press 140lb watercolour paper I sectioned off the area for painting with tape, running both horizontal and vertically. I have been having a sweet on with my Daniel Smith Green palette colours, so of course I would use the greens. The first is Jadeite Genuine, then Cascade Green (my new fave) and lastly Serpentine Genuine.
Instead of showing the colours light to dark I decided to show off the granulation in the colours. It is so interesting, and I know both Peter and Sylvia will take note of this as they are both very keen on the Arts.
Hence there is a reasoning behind my choice. Once the piece was dry in my mini Misti I stamped the stem branch using VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne. I then stamped the sentiment using the same ink.
And to finish, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Woodland Green.
I really do love these colours and love the way this turned out, so I thank Debby for the inspiration.

Absolutely beautiful watercolored background and choice of colors, Kia. Loved your stamped leaves, sentiment, green framing on your CAS card design. The Nuvo drops were the perfect embellishments. TFS my friend. Your friends will love their card. Love and Hugs...Nancy
