I Miss You

This is a new to me die by Pink Fresh Studios. When I saw it I knew I needed to get it. There are so many different ways to use this die, but for my first card I used it the obvious way to me.

I die cut a piece of cardstock to use as my guide, along with a piece from Neenah cardstock to use on the finished card. My base is Arches Cold Press watercolour paper.

Using the guide I die cut, I painted , saturating the colour. I wanted the colours to be strong.

The yellows and pinks I very much like, especially the lighter pink which is Opera Pink. The purple I am not fussed about, but there is a next time.

Once I was done with the painting I let the piece dry, and in the meantime I die cut the sentiment 3 times, once in the Tonic Sugar Crystal cardstock and the other two times using Neenah cardstock. I then glued them together with the Glitter cardstock on the top.

In my mini Misti I stamped the smaller sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Fantasia and added a tiny butterfly to the sentiment strip.

With the piece being dry I then went over the flowers and leaves using my Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen, adding that beautiful gold glitter. It doesn't show up well in the pictures but it is really pretty IRL.

I attached the frame using Nuvo Adhesive, going around the edges along and the positive pieces to secure. I then glued in place the "hello" die, cutting off some from the front of the die so it would fit where I planned for it to be. I then added the sentiment strip, again using Nuvo Adhesive.

I really enjoyed making this card and have other card ideas in mind so I will be using it again soon. I hope you too have enjoyed this post.
